Two venues, one day
Our ceremony takes place in this beautifully restored Georgian setting on the edge of Durham. Please arrive by 12:00 noon so everyone is seated before the ceremony begins at 12:30 pm.

We'll continue the celebrations in Hartlepool with the wedding breakfast, speeches, and dancing into the night.

Getting between venues
A coach will be provided to take guests from The Story to The Golden Lion after the ceremony, so you can relax and enjoy the day without worrying about the journey. The coach departs The Story at 2:00 pm sharp, arriving in Hartlepool in time for the drinks reception.
If you'd prefer to drive, both venues have parking, and the journey between them takes around 30 minutes.

Formal wear, please. Our bridal party will be in black and white, but guests are free to wear whatever colours you feel fabulous in.
Absolutely — children are very welcome and we can't wait to celebrate with the whole family. Just remember to include them when you RSVP so we can sort their meals.
Speak with The Serviced Accommodation Company (or just ask Chloe!) who can help book an Airbnb for you, and there are plenty of hotels close to The Golden Lion too.
We're having an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones and cameras away while we say our vows. Our photographer will capture everything, and we'll share the photos with you. Snap away for the rest of the day!
