Travelling by coach

We're running a coach from Hartlepool to the ceremony in Durham, and back across to The Golden Lion afterwards. It picks up at the Merlin Way bus stop — we'll confirm the exact spot with everyone on the coach nearer the time.

Please be there for 11.10 so we can leave promptly at 11.20. Let us know in your RSVP whether you'd like a seat.

What is the dress code?

Smart. We'd love it if you could avoid wearing black, so the bridal party stand out.

When do you need our RSVP?

By 1 June 2027, with everyone's meal choices included.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive promptly at 12.15 to be seated. The venue won't be able to let anyone in before 12.15, as there may be another wedding taking place just before ours, so please don't arrive early.

Is there parking?

Yes — there is plenty of parking at both venues.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Please don't. We have a photographer and a content creator with us for the whole day, so nothing will be missed. Put your phones away and be in the moment with us.

Can we share photos on social media?

Please hold off on posting anything until we've shared ours first. After that, share away.
